Efrain was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and raised in the Bronx, NY. His wife Megan was born and raised in Pennsylvania. The two met in college, where they both gave their lives to the Lord.

Efrain has over 17 years of ministry experience. He has served the past 11 years in a state that he loves dearly...Texas! Efrain and his family made the transition from Pennsylvania where he served as a College Minister through Jersey Shore Church of God to Kilgore, Texas in 2011. Efrain served as the Senior Pastor at Crosspointe Church in Kilgore for 8 years.

In 2019, God called both Efrain and Megan to Conroe, Texas to plant a gospel-centered, multiplying church. Through partnerships with Houston Church Planting Network, Stadia, Texas Ministries of the Church of God, and other partnering churches, the church was planted with over 400 people in attendance on launch Sunday. Efrain has a passion to equip the local church and see it thrive.

Efrain served several years on the Texas Board of Ministry Executive Team. He is currently the Vice-Chairman of the General Assembly of the Church of God, Anderson. Efrain also serves as the Lead Pastor of Ministry & Multiplication at Wake Church in Conroe, Texas.

Efrain and Megan currently live in Conroe, Texas with their three children Grace, Josiah, and Anna.

Chelsea was born in Seattle, WA and raised in Portland, OR. She grew up at Mount Scott Church of God, where she felt the Lord calling her to ministry as a sophomore in high school. She earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Christian Ministries, Communication, and Social Work) from George Fox University and was ordained by the Church of God in 2015. 

Chelsea served for 14 years in Associate Pastor roles. She formerly served as the Associate Pastor of Children & Family Ministries at Parkgate Community Church in Pasadena, TX. (2016 - 2024) Prior to Parkgate, Chelsea served at Church at the Crossing in Indianapolis, IN and Grace Community Fellowship in Eugene, OR. 

Chelsea is passionate about training, equipping, and resourcing Church of God leaders and currently serves as a coach in the Leadership Focus program.  

Chelsea met her husband Jacob at Parkgate. They have a toddler-aged son, Ezra, and currently live in Deer Park, TX.

Megan was born and raised in Mechanicsburg, PA. She made the personal decision to follow Jesus her senior year of college, where she began attending Jersey Shore Church of God, soon after.

Megan graduated from Lock Haven University with a degree in Mass Communications. Megan also earned a teaching degree in 2020.

Megan has served in the local church as a Children’s Ministry Director for the past 13 years. Megan and her husband, Efrain, also planted Merge Church in 2020 in Conroe, TX. She currently serves as the Family and Children’s Director at Wake Church in Conroe, TX.

Megan is passionate about reaching and equipping the next generation of believers.

Megan met her husband Efrain while in college. They have been happily married and serving the Lord together for almost 20 years. They have 3 amazing children, Grace (16), Josiah (14), Anna (9), and currently reside in Conroe, TX.
